FAQs

Loft Lucia is located in the West Loop, and is easy to access via public transportation, taxi, Lyft, or Uber. The closest El Train stops are Morgan on the Green/Pink Line or UIC-Halsted on the Blue Line.
How should I get to the wedding?
The Old Post Office is centrally located in Chicago’s downtown area, and easy to access via public transportation, taxi, Lyft, or Uber. The closest El Train stop is the Blue Line’s Clinton station.
Is there parking available?
The Old Post Office has an indoor parking garage located at 404 W Harrison, and costs $15 on weekends.
Loft Lucia has street parking in the surrounding area. Download the ParkChicago app to pay for street parking.
For longer term garage spots, we’d recommend downloading the SpotHero app and finding the best option for your accommodations.
Where should I stay?
We’ve reserved several hotel blocks within walking distance of the wedding venue. Head to the accommodations tab to see more. In addition, there are many hotels and AirBnBs located in the area. We understand that Chicago can be expensive, so if you’re looking for a more economical stay, we’d recommend an AirBnB or hotel in one of the following neighborhoods: Wicker Park, Bucktown, Logan Square, Greektown, Lincoln Park, Lakeview, or Wrigleyville. For those driving, the first four neighborhoods are more likely to have free street parking. If you have any more Chicago-specific questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the bride or groom.
What is the dress code?
The dress code for the welcome party on Friday night is cocktail attire, and the dress code for the wedding on Saturday night is black tie optional.
Are kids allowed?
While we love your children, we respectfully request that the weekend be adults only. If you have any questions about childcare options, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
When is the RSVP deadline?
